This chest design is the culmination of lots of input, research and aesthetics. It is also one of the best examples of the woodworkers art. Showcasing exposed dovetails, figured woods, box joints, miters, and custom inlays. Intarsia is like marquetry, but in 3D. You can feel the individual pieces in the design. Often these are given as gifts to the newly married or to young children. 3 similar chest made of different woods. Front to back, Maple, Walnut, Oak, These chests are approximately 18″ x 18″ x 42″.
